Walking barefoot through mud, over water and grass. Climbing over tree trunks or crossing a ditch via a rope. Has it rained? Then there will be extra mud! Along the way, you can rest in one of the hammocks or on a bench.
The Barefoot Trail is freely accessible all year round and open between sunrise and sunset.
There are two starting points:
- Tea garden Blotevoetenhof, Peebos 1a
- P2 Kaleweg in Opende.
Tea Garden Barefoot Court is open until 5pm.
At the end of the trail, you can rinse your feet - bring a towel!
The short route is 1.6 km and the long route is 3.4 km.
The shortest route is great fun for the smallest children with lots of bridges and play equipment. You can only start this route from Theetuin Blotevoetenhof.
Walking the route is at your own risk.
Dogs are not allowed.
