Meeting point De Onlanderij in Eelderwolde houses a teahouse, vegetable garden, play nature and forester Bart's barn where a variety of activities take place.

Playing in the yard

A natural play area has been created at The Onlanderij, where children can climb and clamber over tree trunks, play at the natural water table and dig tunnels in the sandpit.

Shed of forester Bart

The 'Forester Bart' shed has been set up by volunteers from Natuurmonumenten and is the starting point for excursions through De Onlanden. On display are all kinds of finds, some from De Onlanden. There are feathers and skulls, a good map to orientate yourself on the area and you will find a lot about the history of the area. Have you found something yourself? Then we will be happy to put it in the shed of 'forester Bart'. Made a sighting? Put it on the chalkboard, and there are also landing nets for looking for water creatures. In short, a lively place!
